Jason Marsh practices in the areas of general business and corporate law, real estate and intellectual property, with an emphasis on trademark law. He has worked with individuals and business of all sizes, from small start-up entities to multi-national corporations.
In connection with his corporate practice, Jason regularly drafts and negotiates operating agreements, shareholder agreements, employment contracts, financing documents, licensing agreements and distribution agreements. Specific matters include negotiation of multi-million dollar contracts for a client in the food service and venue management industry and negotiation of client and vendor contracts for a prominent multi-national internet marketing services company.
Jason has represented clients in a variety of commercial real estate matters, including purchase and sale agreements, commercial leases for both landlords and tenants and secured lending transactions. Specific matters include nationwide and international retail leases for luxury goods manufacturers and importers, purchase and sale transactions involving converting residential property to retail use and commercial mortgage loans on behalf of a large regional lender.
Jason regularly advises clients on all aspects of trademark law and the firm provides a full array of trademark services, including trademark and domain name searches, trademark clearance and registration services, prosecuting matters before the Trademark Trial and Appeal Board, negotiating/license agreements and advising clients on the proper use, protection and exploitation of their marks.
